My association with Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE), New Delhi began on 14th March, 2014 when I took over as Director-cum-Principal (Additional Charge). DITE is rendering remarkable service in the field of technical education in the country by offering industry relevant courses such as Tool Engineering, Mechatronics, Tool & Die Making and Mechanical Engineering .It has its presence at most levels of the technical education pyramid be it Certificate courses, Short term training courses, Diploma, B.Tech. and M.Tech level and striving to introduce new courses in Mechanical and Electronics Engineering both at Graduate and Post Graduate Level.
The premier technical training institutes of Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), a name to reckon with in the field of Tool Manufacturing and Hi-Tech Vocational Training Centre (HTVTC) with state-of-the-art facilities for practical training were merged to attain synergy and renamed as Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE), which came into existence from 28th November, 2007.
While on hand training is a major problem these days for students from other Technical Institutes but it is a forte at DITE where the students take full advantage of the unique facility of the industry linkage, production and R&D activities in the Tool Room and the Institute is striving hard to cater their needs in the right perspective. The Alumni of the Institute are highly placed and have contributed a lot for the Tool Industry both in India and abroad. Hope this Institute with such facilities and its sustained efforts will be able to achieve greater heights and work culture which is unique and distinct.
