Job Description

Medline India is looking for UI Dev Lead. This person will be integrally involved in the development and support/sustenance of all internet, intranet, and extranet sites along with supporting systems. The User Interface Dev Lead will be involved in leading the team that is involved in software development lifecycle and ongoing support for production systems.

Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Lead UI Development teams and UI Dev members
  • Analyze, Design, architect web based user interfaces that target multiple browsers and devices using adaptive and responsive design patterns.
  • Develop complex UI components hands-on expertise. Perform some server side development using Java and JSP to wire up front end and back end code.
  • Develop approach, design on web analytics front
  • Set-up overall guidelines, best practices on UI front
  • Review of design, code
  • Document programming approach in technical specifications.
  • Execute unit tests and provide unit test documentation
  • Create supplemental Web UI designs
  • Provide technical support for production systems as required
  • Mentor UI Developers and upskill them on latest UI stack/technolgies

Skills / Experience:

Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years of IT work experience as a front end developer on an enterprise development team.
  • Expert in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, JQuery, Angular and UI Technology stack
  • Excellent collaboration skills, communication skills
  • Possess a solid understanding of how enterprise web based systems are constructed.
  • Strong technical leadership qualities on analyzing, designing, implementing web application, UI application along with expertise on end to end application development
  • Guide, mentor team on UI technology front
  • Bring best practices in place as part of UI onboarding
  • Knowledge and experience on UI automated Unit testing, UI devOps aspects
Preferred:

  • Working experience on different UI stacks - Bootstrap or other Front End Development Framework.
  • Photoshop, ExtJs experience
  • Experience working with Oracle Web Commerce (ATG / Endeca), Angular 7 is a big plus.
