The purpose of this position is to design, coordinate, supervise, provides guidance to others, and maintain control over the architecture lifecycle parallel to the project's software development lifecycle and progressively make critical decisions that define a specific direction for a system in terms of implementation, operations, and maintenance. Viewed as a technical expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines.

Must Haves

• Grown up the technical ladder hands on to technical leadership roles in Java Stack, any RDBMS (Preferably Oracle), any NoSQL (Preferably MongoDB), UNIX
• Ability to work across different applications/systems of varied architecture.
• Strong knowledge and designing experience on Web Applications, Application & Web Servers, Database (RDBMS & NoSQL)
• Ability to touch/modify code if required
• Exposure to different types of Software Application Architecture
• o Web Application Architecture - Mandatory
• o Micro Services Based Architecture - Mandatory
• o Legacy Standalone Applications - Mandatory
• o Cloud Based Applications - Not mandatory but good to have.
• Exposure to different frameworks and techniques in following areas
• o Code Review/Code Scans
• o Spring, web services (REST, SOAP)
• o Application Server (JBoss preferably)
• o Unit Testing & services testing
• o Security
• o Compliance
• o Production Issues Debugging and Fault Isolation
• o Applications Performance Tuning
• o DevOps, CI/CD
• o Scaled Agile Framework or Agile/Scrum
• o Front hand (AngularJS)- Not mandatory but good to have some exposure or ideas

• Documents and demonstrates software and data solutions by developing design documentation, solution presentation and development of PoC on need basis.
• Participates with analysts, architects, business service delivery and operations teams to define plans for standardizing, scaling and enhancing products and the services utilized to deploy/install/release those products.
• Ensures that code reviews are performed, and unit testing is performed for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Ensure that the architectural roadmap is in the alignment with project deliverables and the cost incurred.
• Working with teams of full stack developers and skilled testers to check & to take them to the next level of general programming/testing fundamentals.
• Positive trending for customer satisfaction results.

• Masters or Bachelor's in engineering in IT/ Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Systems.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with aligned experience in application design activities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate learn fast and master the new technology stack like Scala, Akka, Mongo, Kafka, etc
• Ability to work well independently and maintain focus in a highly dynamic work environment.
• Comfort in working with team members that are remote and located in the US, India or other geographies
• Ability to work within a matrix organization.
