Job Description

As a leading member of the core engineering team who should be able to define the next level of Test automation.

• Identify the tools and technologies to support the QA team to achieve their strategic goals
• Understand Requirements, and then Design and Implement Efficient Test Automation Framework - for backend (JDBC/API/, frontend
• Implement the Test Result Reporting framework that can cater to all the QA Automation scripting needs
• Create and Maintain tools to monitor the QA test coverage, to monitor Unit Test Coverage, Test Execution.
• Implement and Maintain the code review tools for QA Team and Integrate with the IDE
• Manage the Test Environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager to establish test standards, Practices & tool sets across all level of testing including Unit, Component, System, Acceptance and Regression
• Educate Engineering and Product on testing and QA; partner with them to determine product quality goals and measurements
• Implement and Maintain the CI/CD process.
• Should be able to work in the SCRUM team along with developers for the deliverables.

Requirements:

• Broad knowledge and hands-on technical Expertise in test methodologies and automation development
• Expert with programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Expert in Implementation of at least one of the automation Reporting tool.
• Expert in CI/CD tools.
• Hands on experience in managing the environments.
• Familiar with infrastructure environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, etc.
• Keen Knack and attention to detail.
• Ability to assess and iterate within an evolving software and services environment
• Ability to Maintain and Create automated tests for UI/Backend testing
