Job Description

We are seeking talented and passionate Big Data Development leads with deep understanding of Java 8,
Hadoop Stack and Apache Open Source technologies. You will be leading a team which is comfortable
performing tasks at any level of the technology stack ranging from backend database to front end UI
helping where problems exist and being flexible in approach collaborating with others.

Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree Software Engineering, Information Management Systems,
Computer Science, Business Administration.

Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or other related technical field.

Knowledge Preferred : Demonstrates through knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the
following areas:
Java 8 or Scala design and development experience.
Extensive experience using Application frameworks such as Play or Spring Boot, Spring Cloud;
Experience building Microservices REST API.
Proficient knowledge of Hadoop and Spark.
Demonstrated experience with Apache NiFi, Atlas, Hortonworks DPS is highly preferred;
Database design, creation, manipulation and query of Relational, Hadoop and NoSQL datastores;

Skills Preferred : Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven leadership record of success in the
following areas:
Experience developing large scale distributed data processing systems/applications or large scale internet
systems utilizing Java, Scala, Python, JavaScript etc.;
Web User Interface (UI) creation with use of recent javascript libraries like HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS,
Redux, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS);
Experience working with Agile Methodologies and develop code using object oriented design,
implementation and maturation to take advantage of the language feature sets;
