RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hands-on technical incumbent responsible for designing, developing and executing test activities in addition to driving the activities of others, to ensure applications meet IT standards for quality, reliability, security, performance and architecture requirements.
• Setting-up test environment and database validations.
• Able to design and develop test automation on C#.
• Testing ASP.NET MVC web-based applications with C# .NET testing tools along with Selenium HQ browser automation.
• Load and Unit testing of Microsoft .Net applications
• Work closely with architects, software engineers and product managers to lead teams through task management and by example in all phases of the project life cycle.
• Profile code and database to measure and improve application performance.
• Research new technologies and incorporate them into our applications.
• Write and maintain documentation supporting the code and application.
• Write and maintain documentation including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Proficient at incorporating feedback into their overall process as it pertains to ARI/LeadVenture build standards.
• Expected to work effectively as an individual with daily and weekly goals for design tasks in their queue, and as a part of a larger team to assist the team in cumulative team goals.
• Learn specifications, internal and external systems, product offerings, and application of ARI/LeadVenture standards.
• Ensure that your deliverables are of very high quality and meet deadlines.
• Stay current with new technologies and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelors degree from a reputed College/University.
• Experienced in software development, software test strategies, test case management, complex software quality reporting, and identifying the right testing tools.
• Hands-on technical resource with experience in:
• Testing business critical products.
• C# and .NET development.
• Designing, developing and executing test strategies in Manual and Automation test environment.
• Agile Scrum methodology.
• Testing of ASP.NET MVC web based applications.
• Documentation on proposals for automation frameworks and designs.
• Selenium IDE / WebDriver.
• Continuous Integration (CI) tool experience
• GitHub or GitLab reviewing and merging code via pull requests
• JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket tools experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work with diverse and distributed product stakeholders in different time-zones. Prior experience of working with international colleagues or customers is a strong plus.
• Strong English spoken and written skills.
• Experience of working in a Product development company is a strong plus.
• Able to stretch as per work demands incl. working schedules that involve starting early in the morning or working late into the evening with overseas colleagues. Such meetings and work will be mainly from home.
• Pleasant and patient demeanor. Must be a positive individual able to handle pressure well.
