Job Description

1. ICRISAT seeks applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Senior Research Fellow, Monsoon Mission Project in ICRISAT Development Centre under Asia program. The position is based at ICRISAT Patancheru, Telangana, India and in target districts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, India. The position reports to the Principal Investigator of the Project and Team Leader, IDC, ICRISAT.

2. Essential criteria: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one fo the following –

Scholars who are selected through NET – CSIR-UGC NET Including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
The Selection Process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
2 years Research Experience with the above mentioned Qualifications.
Experience in conducting field experiments will be preferred
Keen analytical skills and ability to evaluate and validate experimental trials
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,Skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
