Ensures safety and security of the hotel by preventing the entry or
exit of unauthorized men and material.
Regularly recommends improvements in all surveillance and fire
systems in the unit.
Ensures the safety and security of guests, employees and all
property, by providing constant vigil in and around the unit/ hotel.
Ensures personal grooming standards are maintained by all
departmental employees at all times.
Responsible for maintenance of all records and documents as per
organizational requirements (e.g. gate passes etc.)
Ensures quick and systematic investigation of unusual occurrences and
initiates remedial steps to prevent a recurrence.
Maintains good liaison with civil law enforcement agencies and the
Fire department.
Ensures adequate key control for guest and heart of the house areas,
by establishing relevant systems.
Responsible for coordination with external agencies for all special
security arrangements.
Ensures compliance with policies, systems and procedures relating to
security (bomb scares, evacuation, etc.)- develops and practices special
emergency drills.
Ensures all the key areas are always manned for constant security.
Ensures that all the organizational policies, rules and regulation
are adhered to, by departmental employees
Responsible for organizational of work including assignments and time
schedules during his or her shift/ in respective area of work.
Ensures timely completion of all investigation, enquiries and
delivery of results to concerned authority.
