1. Name of the Post: Research Associate
2. Monthly Stipend: Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA.
3. Essential:
(i) PhD in Bioinformatics or PhD in Life Sciences with Bioinformatics/Computational Biology as the thesis topic from a University or Institute recognized by UGC (Provisional PhD degree certificate is Mandatory).
(ii) Expertise in using R and any one programming languages (Perl or Python).
4. Desirable:
(i) Experience in genomics data analysis using state-of –the art statistical and machine learning techniques (SVM, random forests, and neural networks).
(ii) Knowledge in evolutionary genomics, protein modeling and simulation.
(ii) Experience in using bioinformatics tools like PAML, MEGA and CHARMM or GROMACS.
