Job Description

  1. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record and relevant work experience for the following positions purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded project.
  2. Minimum educational Qualification Ph.D. in Physics / Material Science or equivalent discipline
  3. Preference Candidates having expertise in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems, deposition systems like electron beam evaporator, and low temperature (LT) scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM), spectroscopy will be preferred.
  4. Job Requirement Sample preparation in UHV by e-beam evaporation, sputtering & annealing, measurements using STM and STS. Data analysis and manuscript writing.
  5. Tenure of the appointment Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.
  6. Consolidated emoluments Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA per month.
