Job Description

Legend Footwear is a progressive footwear retail E-commerce Company in the UK. We have been trading since 1992 and growing at a very rapid rate year on year. We were ranked in Investec mid-market 100 lists of fastest-growing UK companies.

We are looking for a full-time remote recruitment manager with a burning desire to succeed. You should have a demonstrable experience of not only selecting quality candidates using the job boards but also seeking out and headhunting talent across multiple disciplines within the scope of e-commerce. This is a long-term and permanent position.

Using your experience, you analyse what works and what doesn’t. You’ll be able to critically evaluate our current recruiting approach and suggest and implement improvements. Where needed you will also design brand new procedures and manage the delivery of their implementation.

On a typical day, you will source candidates using a variety of sourcing strategies, review applicants, pre-screen candidates, and maintain the candidate database. You will collaborate daily with the department manager on all ongoing searches, report on your current searches, and present out-of-the-box ideas to attract top talent to our niche roles.

The right candidate is one who is eager to grow and contribute, someone who doesn’t shy away from challenges and loves finding a better way of doing things. The person in this role must be comfortable with change and ambiguity, seeing these as opportunities for growth rather than barriers to achievement.

The Recruiter’s tasks are comprised of but not limited to the following:

  • Develop recruitment strategies that meet anticipated staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with the department managers to understand the job roles, their requirements and compose attractive job descriptions.
  • Manage all the job adverts across all the job boards.
  • Review job applications and shortlist suitable candidates
  • Conduct video interviews and skills assessments
  • Seek out and headhunt talents for various managerial positions.
  • Present summarised shortlisted candidates' details to the department managers for approval.
  • Advice and assist management in implementing, organizing and optimising recruiting procedures of the company.
  • Conduct necessary references checks for candidates
  • Ad-hoc office admin duties.

Skills Required:

  • Must have 5 years of proven recruitment experience for hiring for various business departments including business development, digital marketing management, customer service, IT etc.
  • Excellent CV screening skills.
  • Familiar with a wide variety of candidate sourcing platforms and methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of using collaborating software (Click up, Microsoft 365 etc.)
  • Ability to work closely with management and you will be monitored by senior management

We also have the following requirements for the computer hardware, your workspace and the internet. If you do not meet these requirements, your application will be unsuccessful.

  • Desktop computer with a minimum of: Operating system: Windows 10, Processor speed: 3.9 GHz, RAM: 8 GB, Two monitors (willing to add third at a later stage). Each monitor should be at least 21” in screen size
  • A backup Laptop computer with similar specifications as the main desktop computer.
  • Minimum of 30 mbps internet connection with a backup of similar speed
  • A designated workplace that is not in a shared space and is free from all distractions
  • IP Camera providing a live video and audio feed of your workplace during your shift timings.
  • Power backup for a power outage.
  • Work with an activity monitoring app to access your activity on the computer.

Pay Rate:

We are offering $10 to $15 per hour rate (based on experience). 40 hours, 5 days (MON-FRI) in a week, 8-5 UK time with one hour break (non-payable)

In addition to the basic rate, we also offer a performance bonus and a hiring bonus for each hire. The hiring bonus will range between $100 to $200 per hire after they complete the initial assessment successfully by their line manager.
