The PreSales COE This centralizes the creation and distribution of highly polished customer-facing, industry/customer-specific, value-based PreSales collateral, including tens of thousands of live solution demonstrations and PoCs. centralization leads to increasing industry expertise and scalability, and the identification of best practices for use by the entire Sales organization. Consumers of our content and services include internal BMC employees, partners and external customers. In addition to our content creation role, the COE is responsible for the legal usage of content, including research, quotations, images, footage, and audio. We are seeking best-in-industry professionals to complete our world-class team of technical solution engineers and content designers. Our ideal candidate will have significant technical presales experience, including heavy customer document and video creation. The new team member would be responsible for creating world-class, value-based PreSales customer marketing collateral, aligned tightly with BMC solution demonstration environments. Primary Roles and Responsibilities Create highly designed modular customer videos, animations and documents to be delivered seamlessly with BMC Software solution demonstrations. Design, develop and promote new, inspiring and differentiated content that can be used to excite our audiences and demonstrate BMCs expertise in the field of IT management, and in the context of digital transformation. Accurately position BMCs capabilities and points of view in a way aligns those tiers and that best suits the audience and market conditions. Work with the solutions marketing teams on specific targeted pieces that both further the overall corporate positioning and the differentiation of the solution itself Customize pre-installed demonstration environments for specific customers, personas and verticals. Provide support of pre-installed demonstration environments for the Sales organization. Gathers bug and best practice requirements, and works with Technical Marketing and other product matter experts to include in later demo releases. Align and integrate content with marketing, product management, industry cloud, etc. Provide grammatical reviews and edits to documents in English Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-solution integration issues Identify and prioritize the content needs of the team and other internal stakeholders Manage the PreSales portions of the Sales Edge (Seismic) and other knowledge management publishing systems. Help enable the field to execute core processes more efficiently and effectively Provide administrative support for the BMC Demo Cloud (BDC), and other cloud environments on which demonstrations are delivered. Qualifications Ideal candidate will also have 5-10 years solutions marketing or PreSales experience, with a strong background in solution development or support. Has engaged with or has supported Presales customer opportunities across various verticals Excellent English communication skills and ability to communicate to an executive audience. Ability to build strong stories and compelling narratives Proficiency in a DevOps development and release environment. Comfortable working across multiple cultures Expert MS PowerPoint, MS Word, GoAnimate and video production skills A flexible attitude and an ability to produce excellent work with minimal guidance Should be willing to work in rotational shifts (9AM-630 PM and 12 PM-930PM India time). This role requires a balance of technical, communication and marketing skills its critical that you understand what drives B2B technology buyers to make investments in technology and the role of content in influencing buying decisions. You should also have a strong sense of the forces shaping the future evolution of this discipline. Its also vitally important that you can communicate these concepts with ease and confidence, both in writing and in person. You will have an in-depth understand of how sales and PreSales organizations in technology companies work and how best you can work with the various teams that will provide you with information and consume the work you produce. Ideally, youll have a strong solution marketing background of three-five years or more where youve already proven that you possess a good balance of technical, communications and process improvement skills.
