Consumers of our content and services include internal BMC employees, partners and external customers. The team takes pride in ensuring our customers satisfaction, and we are looking for someone who will work hard and share in that pride.We are seeking a best-in-industry technical professional to complete our world-class team of cloud administrators and architects. Our ideal candidate would have lengthy and broad datacenter experience in cloud and its supporting technologies including virtualization, networking, storage, and server operating systems. The new team member would be responsible for ramping up on internal technology and then leading efforts to refine, expand and support current operations and end users. Like other team members at all levels, and in addition to architect-level duties, the right candidate will also cheerfully provide direct first-level technical support to end users.Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Provide administrative and architectural support for our demonstration cloud, and other cloud environments globally. Provide support to consumers of our demo systems and troubleshoot end to end access to solution demos: browser compatibility, network and basic OS health Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-technology cloud issues quickly and efficiently. Drive and focus on key program expansion projects and architecture. Continue to innovate technical delivery tools such as our primary demo cloud, and in other clouds. Coordinate the creation of demo, lab and POC content to enable Software Consulting and Partners. Work with Technical Marketing, Technical Enablement Managers, and other product matter experts to build content for web-based delivery of demos, labs, and POCs Become familiar with BMC solutions to better understand content requirements, and how to deliver them in the most effective manner.Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of intense cross-discipline data center or cloud operations experience. Proficiency in utilizing virtualization, its supporting technologies and other tools to deliver BMC Software environments. Proficiency with VMware vSphere, ESX/ESXi, and Vcenter Proficiency with cloud and virtualization supporting technologies including: networking, SAN storage, server operating systems.
