Title - NOC / Linux system Engineers
(Exp in both Linux & Networking)
Location - Bangalore (Whitefield)
Responsibilities -
Monitoring and responding to all system and server related issues in our multi site (India and UK) data-center infrastructure.
Work closely with our 2nd line engineers and designers.
You will also need to establish good relationships with our service providers, so it is important that you are clear and concise in your communications.
First respondent to all incidents, system or server related with special focus on security related issues.
Concise creation of documentation and reporting of issues, compile statistics and network performance.
Skills -
Proven skills with Linux based systems
Experience with automation tools - Salt Stack, Puppet or Ansible
Experience with monitoring tools - Nagios or Zabbix
Good understanding of TCP/IP
Experience with firewalls
Some experience with L2 and L3 networks
Basic understanding of routing and switching
Virtualization like VmWare, Xen, Qemu
Experience with version control systems, git, svn etc.
Some knowledge of intrusion detection tools
Cloud services like AWS
Experience with technical documentation
Previous Helpdesk experience
