This role is responsible for executing key merchandising principles as defined by the organization. In this role you are part of a team responsible for maximizing the sales, profitability brand equity of INDIA by building and leading the merchandising strategy for the market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive pre-season planning including Open-To-Buy (OTB) plan, pre-season product planning, option planning, forecasting
  • Support the deployment of ranges and assortment planning strategies for own retail (Concept FO) stores in collaboration with INDIAEM CTC
  • Contribute to the enhancement of all merchandising processes, systems and tools
  • Work closely with the Business Solution Team to meet world class merchandising best practice
  • Mapping the merchandising process and define appropriate merchandising solution for the market.
  • Define the methodology of option and space management contribute to the development of key merchandising reports
  • Review in season stock cover and highlight concerns to the markets. Ensure the right level of stock based on commerciality and brand vision. Maximize Clearance opportunities and shape up FO Strategy (with focus on GFO)
  • Identify and maximize new in season business opportunities by understanding and executing on respective channel potentials
  • Visit stores as needed and advised by the business
  • Role model the leadership framework and ONE EM mindset
  • Evaluate the competencies of his/her direct or indirect subordinates on a regular basis and provides feedback and guidance to drive high performance culture and a winning mindset
  • Take ownership for Talent Management processes to grow, develop and retain talents.
