Job Description

  • Understands the priorities of the Marketing function and utilizes project management methodology to support, monitor and report on-going programs and those in pipeline.
  • Provides dependable advice and consultation to the CMO, leveraging marketing performance data
  • In conjunction with the CMO, collaborates with marketing leaders to achieve alignment with the corporate strategy
  • Orchestrates the annual marketing planning process (e.g., milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar), ensuring marketings goals are aligned with sales and product objectives
  • Manages approvals and governance for Marketing initiatives, working closely with Marketing Ops/Finance lead
  • Develops measurement dashboards and monitors traffic/tracking where programs are in the process). This will link to the work that being done on marketing automation to allow us to track through sales to close.
  • Ensures impact-level marketing measurement and executive reporting on marketings contribution to the business
  • Ensures that marketing measurement drives performance review of key functions and campaigns
  • Leads data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governance
  • Works closely with marketing leaders to drive objectives of Operations function.
  • Gathers and disseminates internal and external marketing best practices
  • Participates in the development of organizational alignment, competency assessments and skills development, as directed by the CMO
  • Build out information relative to each initiative and their interdependencies with one another, including ownership, scope, key phases and dates, risks and challenges
  • Partner with external advisor, as needed, to evaluate strategy, tools and templates to be used for managing operations for Marketing function.
  • Delivers effective change management and communications for technology implementation, data policy and process re-engineering within marketing
  • Lead charge for identification and set-up of technology to enable leadership view of what is in the pipeline, what we are spending budget on and where the projects are in the process and provide a dashboard at different levels, from executive down to individual program details.
