Job Description

  • Maintaining accounts system
  • Banking money and cheques received and issuing receipts
  • Maintaining and transferring money between bank accounts
  • Payment of invoices and fees
  • Working with executives and business heads to prepare budgets
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and publishing timely monthly Budget vs Actual achieved with variances, product-wise cost- centre reports, and other analytical reports as per requirement
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports for meetings
  • Managing daily cash balances
  • Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow company to operate effectively
  • Cash budgeting
  • Maintain banking relationships and negotiating loans, if required
  • Preparing financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities
  • Arranging financial audits and reviews, as required
  • Managing and overseeing cost centre Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure Accounting compliance as per relevant Acts/Standards
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and IT/GST filings
  • Interface with IT team in getting all deliverable on ERP/software from accounts and finance standpoint
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the systems and process and give feedback / inputs to IT team for enhancement of better accounting and financial reporting
  • Manage payroll and PF/ESIC matters for Company
  • Creating solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial knowledge
  • Liaising with other departments and business units on a range of issues
  • Providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole
  • Taking responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of staff
