Job Description:

Medline India is looking for a Magento PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is essential.

Some of the responsibilities are:

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

• Integration of data storage solutions, API platform integrations, and Magento interfaces (UI).

• Performs gap and data analysis in support of identifying improvement opportunities in the systems.

• Independently identify, triage and resolve issues, defects, and enhancement requests.

• Creates technical system specifications.

• Perform System configurations

• Provide technical support for production systems

• Creating and executing the necessary test cases for unit, system, and integration test case scenarios.

• Working with other team areas responsible for successful delivery of assignment.

• Assist in creating user stories for the sprint

• Be an active member of the Agile team and actively participate in sprint grooming meetings with the team

Skills / Experience:

• Bachelor s degree related to Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology from an accredited university

• More than 5 years of professional web development experience.

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks and object oriented PHP programming.

• Strong knowledge of Magento 2 Framework and IDE.

• Understanding of MVC design patterns.

• Proficiency in the following: PHP, SQL (MySQL experience preferred), JavaScript (ES 6 experience preferred), CSS 3 (3 yrs current experience preferred), HTML5 (3yrs current experience preferred).

• Understanding accessibility and security compliance.

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as BitBucket, Git.

• Experience in an Agile Environment (using Jira, Confluence)

• Technical understanding of complex Enterprise Web and Mobile Application development and deployment concepts

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge on Knockout JS and JQuery is a plus
