Job Description

  1. Job Description:  Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)for the DST-SERB Funded Project in School of Bio Sciences and Technology (SBST), (CRG/2019/002045), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
  2. Title of the Project : A perspective anticoagulant peptide from Nori; Porphyra yezoensis hydrolysate acting on intrinsic pathway of congulation
  3. Qualification : M.Sc. Life sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / M.TechBiotechnology or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Biosciences.
  4. Desirable :Candidates having knowledge in protein purificationand experiencein technical writing will be preferred.
  5. Stipend : Rs. 31,000/- per month (for first two years), Rs. 35,000/- per month (for the third year)M.Tech/M.Sc. with GATE/JEST/NET
  6. Candidates without GATE/NET, stipend will be as per institute norms.
  7. Sponsoring Agency : DST- SERB, Government of India.
  8. Duration : 3 years.
