Java Developer Job Duties and Responsibilities Typical duties include:
  • Coding, testing and debugging programs according to computer engineering specifications
  • Modifying, expanding and updating applications
  • Developing software prototypes4)Working with quality assurance to develop software test plans Skills Programming skills in Java Exposure to additional languages and frameworks such as C#/C++, HTML, Microsoft. NET, and SQL server.
  • Education Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field but may accept two-year technical degree if combined with several years of practical experience Level III - Advanced: 6-8 years
