Responsibilities
Configuration, implementation and data validation as it pertains to the Data Intensity monitoring platform.
Handles level-appropriate customer support requests via the ticket system
Schedules and coordinates level-appropriate maintenance
Coordinating with monitoring team for monitoring deployments
Coordinating with customers for monitoring deployments
Requirements
Experience with excellent knowledge & skills in Systems & Tools administration (Windows, Linux & HP/AIX Unix Systems, Scripting, Network, ITSM Tools)
Knowledge/Experience in Site scope/Apps Manager is Mandatory.
Application Manager, Perl, shell programming is preferred.
Previous enterprise monitoring experience is Mandatory.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexible to work in shifts.
Understanding the Monitoring objectives, translate and implementation of user requests
Working knowledge of network protocols and devices in LAN and WAN environments
Understanding of DNS, IIS, Apache, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and database programs
Good ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in order to maintain required productivity levels
Demonstrates basic problem solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility
Ability to follow policies and procedures and complete tasks correctly and on time
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
Experience:
3+ years IT experience
2+ years monitoring administrative support
