Position: Tamil Linguist
Experience: 0 - 3 Years
Work Location: Hyderabad
Job Description:
Zen3 is looking for Tamil Linguists to work on ASR-related projects with the following qualifications:
1) M.A. in Linguistics or higher-level degree,
2) Native level fluency (speak-read-write) in Tamil with knowledge of any other language is preferred with sound knowledge of the dialects of the languages known.
3)Good knowledge of Phonetics and Phonology in general as well as of the languages known,
4)Acquaintance with transcription using IPA or X-SAMPA ,
5)Familiarity with Regular expressions and formal languages will be preferred.
Work Profile:
1)Building pronunciation dictionaries,
2) Defining pronunciation rules,
3) Phonemic/Phonetic Transcriptions,
4) Validating speech training data.
