Short description
Support accounting manager in accounting, MIS reporting, treasury operations, general ledger management, financial analysis and external & internal audits, other accounting & HR support for Bangladesh branch office of Tetra Pak India Private Limited.

Job Description

• Accounting: Responsible for day to day branch office operations for finance function taking care of all accounting tasks and recording the transactions in tally accounting software;
• MIS reporting: Support in monthly book closing process for expense accrual and accounting adjustments and preparation of MIS report for Group reporting purpose;
• Treasury operations: Liaison with treasury team and bank for receiving of inward remittance, solving trade finance related matters and for clearing any other open items.
• General ledger management: Review, reconcile and clear open items in various balance sheet accounts; follow up with various internal stakeholders for clearing of old open items; prepare monthly schedules for specific accounts;
• Financial analysis: Support Accounting Manager and Finance Director on expenses and balance sheet analysis;
• External / internal audits: Prepare statutory financials, notes to accounts and schedules; coordinate external and internal audits; answer audit queries;
• Other accounting support: Interact with various internal stakeholders for accounting and reporting matters and help Tax, Legal and HR teams in extracting data for statutory submissions.
• HR Support: Liaison with HR team and consulting firm for outgoing employee full and final settlement, PF fund audit, clear any open item and support PF trustee to make decision for investment.

Required Candidate profile

• Candidate must be semi qualified / qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• He / she must have good interpersonal and communication skills; must have advanced tally and MS Office knowledge.
• Candidate must have strong personal drive, an ability to make things happen and problem solving.
