Day to day follow up and Execution of work as per the order.
¢¢ Initiate research and development of new fabrics, analysis of their density, types of dyes, printing etc., as per the swatches given and pass on to the designers to develop garments.
¢¢ To visit manufacturing units to attend fabric related problems.
¢¢ Based on fabric analysis quote the prices and arrange for bulk fabric production.
¢¢ Trouble shoot problems occurring during production relating to shrinkage percentage, color variation etc.
¢¢ To make efficient use of resources.
¢¢ Arrange fabrics for extra consumption, in case of rejection, settle the claims with mills.
¢¢ Meet the planned cut date as per the production planning.
¢¢ Interact with QA and ensure Quality check is done to fit into the requirement.
¢¢ To strategize innovative ideas to simplify process and make it more efficient.
¢¢ To generate MIS reports and provide the same to the concerned departments.
¢¢ Knowledge of Testing and Inspection.
