Job Description

Job responsibilities:

  • Helping the team make software development and architecture decisions
  • Partner with our product and design team to define, execute and test technology solutions
  • Understand how our partners businesses work, and balance technical requirements with business needs
  • Participate in code reviews and pairing
  • Efficiently deliver stories that produce quality features
  • Ensure high quality by unit and integration testing of your work

Technology Skills:

  • Ruby, React, PHP or other backend object-oriented language
  • Front end development with Javascript, React, HAML, SLIM, CSS & SCSS
  • Relational databases, with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Solid understanding of Git for version control
  • RESTful API design, implementation and testing
  • Strong understanding of unit testing and front-end integration

Other Skills:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy interacting with internal and external team members
