Good understanding of on-chip peripherals (ADC, SPI, I2C, Timers, Watchdog, Flash Memory, SDRAM Interface, etc), external peripheral interface (SDRAM, EEPROM, ADC, IO Expanders).
C++, C programming hands-on.
RTOS (eCos, Linux, QNX and any other) for embedded systems, Inter-process communication. Understanding Kernel services.
Protocols bus like CAN, RS232, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB.
Good understanding of distributed computing on given protocols for data transfer and control.
Clarity on the bootloader, programmers.
