Required skills:

 
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Must be able to speak the language of the business.
  • Expert knowledge in software development methodologies and frameworks (Microsoft stack) with demonstrated experience.
  • Understanding of HTTP/S and Windows/Web- based application architecture
  • Experience in object- oriented design and development with languages such as C#, JavaScript
  • Solid experience in .NET technologies - .Net 4 / 4.5 , .Net Core, WCF, Web API, MVC
  • Experienced with database concepts and databases such as SQL Server
  • Experience with Web Services including JSON, SOAP XML, RESTful
  • Proven capabilities in delivering business value with great efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of database design/modeling, optimization, troubleshooting, and management.
  • Experience creating web user interfaces and knowledge of presentation technologies (compliant HTML5, CSS3, JS, JQuery, etc)
  • Experience with CI/CD implementation, deployment architecture/practices, building project team specific devops automation to save manual time/efforts
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal team members as well as business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving characteristics with the ability to think out of the box.

Desired Skills:

 
  • Experience with SOA, cloud technologies (in MicroSoft ecosystem i.e Azure ) , Mobile Development/Presentation, Ecommerce, EDI, HL7, SAML, and Business Rules Engines are plusses.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and PCI DSS highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Health Care Management or Health Insurance business highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical leadership to the Managed Care application development and support team.
  • Performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and technical review of application enhancements.
  • Acts as a programmer/analyst when necessary to assist the Managed Care team in various initiatives.
  • Responsible for the identification of and resolution of gaps in the business processes.
  • Communicates and coordinates with Team Manager and business leadership to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the enterprise.
  • Provides off hour support of the Managed Care applications as needed.
  • Recommends necessary changes to the existing applications to ensure efficient functioning, revenue generation, and cost savings.
  • Maintains a productive working environment for the development team.
  • Identifies technical risks upfront and brings to the attention of management.
  • Assists in estimating the size and scope of IT tasks and projects.
  • Identifies risks associated with tasks, projects, plans and implementations.
  • Guides programming team through release implementations.
  • Collaborates with application architect to review solution design and implementation.
  • Monitors project and task progress and provides feedback to technical team members and status updates to management.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements, operational analysis capabilities, act as mentor to technical team.
  • Works closely with business analysts to develop solutions and assists in facilitation meetings with business owners and users.
  • Collaborates with other Tech leaders, enterprise architects and overall tech community to help shape up the next level tech capabilities
