Job Description

 

  • racle Apps DBA - a good understanding of the EBS technology stack for Release 12.1.X.
  • Oracle core DBA, apps DBA skills for supporting Oracle database and application 10g/11g with RAC/Non-RAC environment.
    • Extensive experience on 10g/11g RAC, ASM and Replication.
    • Good exposure in Oracle Applications R12 Maintenance , Cloning, Patching.
    • Experience in data gaurd/clusters/Migration/upgradation/performance tuning.
    • Well versed in using AD Utilities (adpatch,adadmin,adctrl,adsplice).
    • Experience with Unix/Linux including basic commands and basic shell scripting.
    • Good exposure of Backup and Recovery (Oracle RMAN, Import/Export and Datapump).
    • Oracle R12 Installation on windows and Unix environment.
    • Strong knowledge of performance tuning.
    • Knowledge of Oracle Application Manager.
    • Good working knowledge of sysadmin Activities.
    • Good working knowledge of job scheduling in Unix environment and monitoring scripts/tools.
    • Good Communication Skills Code Migration Support to Functional Consultants.
    • Handling tickets raised by functional/technical/business users.
    • Handling Alerts raised by alert monitoring system from Database and applications.
    • Oracle Apps DBA Oracle DBA Performance tuning Database Administration Oracle Apps Architecture R11 and R12.
    • Tablespace Reorg Activities to improve the performance/to reclaim the unused space.
    • Oracle Concurrent Request Scheduling.
    • Schema Reorg Activities to improve the performance.
    • Patch Analysis where there is a patch needs to be applied.
    • Patch Application as per schedule.
    • DR setup recovery.
    • Cloning as per schedules.
    • Backups and issues related to them.
    • Query response time and other Performance Issues.
    • Upgrade Experience (Database and Application both).
    • Hands-on experience on Shell scripting, DB & apps performance analysis, OEM 12C etc.
    • Proven experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, disaster recovery planning and testing.
    • Work with Oracle Support by raising SRs on several issues.
    • Monitoring Standby Databases and resolve respective issues.
    • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
    • Ability to work effectively with others and share knowledge to ensure team success
