Position Purpose A BMC Project Specialist will be responsible for supporting Global Delivery. There are two Project Specialist roles, one is Sales-focused and the other is Resource-focused The Sales-focused Project Specialist will be assigned as a Deal Desk team member responsible for managing administration activities in supporting WW Services/Education Sales with processing of Project Based SOWs, CCOs, Staff Augmentation Contracts and Education Quotations. The Sales-focused Project Specialist responsibilities may include creating of SOWs, Bidsheets, ACR Approvals, Contract Review, Order Service bookings, Process Guide maintenance. Key Account abilities A Sales-focused Project Specialist will perform the following global administrative tasks Create SFDC Opportunity ID. Create SOW, Bidsheet / Education quotation as per the request from the Services Sales OR Education Sales teams using the approved latest templates. Submit for ACR processing, internal review with CMO, and book through Order Services as per the defined procedures. Update CEL with artefacts created and approvals obtained. Acts as main point of contact on Project Based Offerings, CCOs, Staff Aug engagements and Education Quotation within BMC. Implementation / Delivery A Sale-focused Project Specialist will perform the following tasks Uploads engagement contract artefacts to CEL. Assists PMs with Customer Change Orders - monitor administration of CCO through to OpenAir. An individual contributor that Demonstrates successful time management skills. Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities with a short turnaround time. Demonstrates persistent attention to detail and quality of project reporting. Ensures conformance to time and expense policies. Reviews BMC periodic KPI reporting and ensures accuracy of data. Escalates appropriately for issues impacting services sales / resource management following process and policy. Contributes to and leverages existing services sales / resource management best practice content and standards. Continuously improves own skills and proactively seeks new learning and engagement opportunities through creating, maintaining and executing own development plan. Recognizes opportunities for improvement in our processes. Fulfills all Ethics and Compliance training and testing requirements to protect BMC interests and assets at all time Experiences Minimum 6- 8 years in a Project Specialist role or equivalent experience in service sales / pre-sales administration. Experience with Contract Management processes including types of contracts, legal terms and conditions, financial clauses, daily rates, etc. Experience communicating at all levels within a corporation. Key Account-abilities Strategy / Services Sales-focused Trains new personnel on the use of SFDC, Contract Approval system for new members. Work with customers/managers for contract close out Manages escalations. Manages resources and be accountable for their work. Assists Director with new service offerings and improvements to pre-sales activities. Develops weekly Status report for Director and above. Creates and delivers Quarterly Reports for Geo leadership team Recommends process improvement guides and implements them. Transformation/ Change Mgmt Implementation / Resource Management Interviews, selects new personnel for the roles Mentors new personnel on the function. Liaison with Global Vendors and be able to work independently with them for any resolution. Years of experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 8 years in a Project Specialist role or equivalent experience in Services Sales / Contract Management. Managed administration of project teams of over 5 team members in more than 1 location. International experience preferred.
