BI Systems Developer ETL

Job Description

Required skills:

• 4 year degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field

• 3+ years ETL Experience with ETL tools (Talend)

• 2+ years of Java experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team

• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment

• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) software

Desired Skills:

• HANA modeling

• Knowledge of ERP SAP, SAP HANA, Tableau, WebFocus

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing, maintenance and support of complex data extracts

• Develop standards, policies and procedures for ETL-related activities, including data movement, quality and cleansing

• Ensure design consistency with development standards and guidelines

• Actively participate in design and analysis sessions to determine appropriate ETL solutions and architecture

• Investigate production ETL issues/ problems

• Adhere to IS Department policies best practices and work successfully within an iterative SDLC environment

Education

• IT Graduate (BE, BTech, MCA) preferred.

• Experience of working in Captive is a plus.
