BI Analyst Developer (Business Objects)

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop SAP BO Universes, WebI reports and Crystal Reports using various data sources

• Create publications, handle user/ group security using CMC

• Follow SDLC processes, including data validation and performance testing, to deliver project solutions.

• Monitor and support existing schedules using CMC, use Query builder to analyze report schedules

• Investigate and fix production issues. Investigate and improve performance issues.

• Create complex logical models (Similar to BO Universes) using SQL in Cisco Information Server

• Address business problems raised through helpdesk tickets

• Support Medline s change management and release management process

• Collaborate with the team and business partners to provide end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions

Skills / Experience:

Required:

• 4+ years of extensive experience in designing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions using SAP BO 4.1/ 4.2 and RDBMS

• Experience of creating universes using IDT, creating WebI reports, Crystal Reports and Query Builder tool

• Experience of handling BO Administration in CMCz

• Strong SQL skills in designing complex queries, writing stored procedures and DDL

• Good understanding of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts

• Strong analytical and rational thinking

• Strong understanding of SDLC and best development practices

Preferred:

• Knowledge of ERP SAP, SAP HANA, Tableau, WebFocus, Cisco Information Server

• Participated in a BO Upgrade

• Experience of SAP BO SDK

• Experience of ETL tools, preferably Talend

Education and/ or Experience:

• IT Graduate (BE, BTech, MCA) preferred.

• Experience of working in Captive is a plus
