Job Description

Implement user-stories after carefully understanding product requirements
Create APIs and microservices using event driven architecture
Write automated tests for the features that you develop
Demo features to stake-holders and product managers
Work on improving the quality of the existing system
Set the bar high for yourself and peers on coding standards

Requirements

We don t expect anybody to be an expert on all of these, but you should be deeply familiar with some, and a self-starting learner who isn t afraid to ask for help:

Polyglot Development (at least 1 more language apart from Java and JavaScript)
At least one JVM language
Test Driven Development
Understanding programming paradigms like OO and FP
Clean Code, SOLID principles
Solid grasp on HTTP and REST
Security based on OAuth2 / OIDC
SQL and NoSQL DBs like PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch
SQL Migration tools like Liquibase, Flyway
Deployment to AWS
AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, Kinesis
