Job Description

Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate risk by identifying, describing and estimating the risks in central operations.
Identify and escalate emerging and upstream operational risk, including risk event management, report and action plan tracking to internal stakeholders.
Mitigate operational risk to acceptable level (ie Risk appetite) and recommend follow-up action or facilitate risk acceptance.
Ensure the BCP plan is drawn up for the team and successfully tested to comply with the Bank's requirements
Ensure satisfactory audit reports on all internal & external audits.
Ensure the reconciliation and maintenance of all internal office accounts as per agreed process
Ensure the accounting breaks are tracked and resolved by the units in time.
Conduct ongoing quality assurance review for various process in the unit and ensure gaps if any are closed.
Ensure a robust governance structure & MI reports are created and implemented to minimize the operational risks
Ensure the Standard Operating Procedures are in place for the Unit along with detailed manuals for all activities conducted by the Operations team.
To comply with the Bank's process & policies and ensure positive ratings during all Country / Group audits

Required Candidate profile

Experience

Overall 8+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
3-5 years of experience in people management / managerial role
Good Accounting Knowledge
Excellent understanding of the MS-Excel, MS-PPT and other office management tools

Minimum qualification: Graduate
